Molti bello y muy hermoso, Johanna and Cristiano’s wedding at the Secret Jewel was definitely all that! There is absolutely nothing I love more about destination weddings than witnessing the couple’s friends and families (often from across the ocean as in the case of Johanna and Cristiano) come completely together in a wonderful fusion of amazing joy. This was one of those times, the wedding (organized by the awesome Yazmin de La Mora and her team) was just perfect; fun, laid back and fast moving with both a lovely Catholic ceremony in the Secret Jewel’s ocean side chapel and an amazing Mayan ceremony on the beach followed by dinner and dancing under the palm trees. By the time the reception had rolled around everyone seemed to have totally bonded into one big explosion of fun! Johanna y Cristiano, nos encantó fotografia la boda, muchas gracias y un abrazo grande de parte nuestra!
The reception was set up with lounge seating under the grove of palm trees, amazing.
Now and then I get asked for recommendations of locations for a pretty chapel to that could hold a more private Catholic wedding… the chapel at the Secret Jewel is certainly perfect.
We had just a few minutes for bridal photographs and of course put them to use… I thought Lindsey’s photo of Cristiano as he watched the little photo session was very special.
The Mayan ceremony was held on the beach at dusk, simply amazing.
